It gets me EVERY TIME! I was desperate to book a last minute tee time, I didn’t want to go far and I wanted a fun course to play... enter Knollwood. And this will be the LAST time I ever play there because once again, they got me good. Five and a half hours later, 18 hours of golf, one video published on our Instagram and it turns out I’m not the only that shared this experience.
Knollwood is run by a number of individuals that do not care about golf, the only care about money. They only care about stacking tee times 8 minutes apart, having horrible tee boxes (some didn’t have tees set up!), and fairways that have you hitting out of dirt.
Like to many courses in Los Angeles, the potential for great golf is massive. Par 5’s, target fairways, challenging greens yet it’s all ruined by corrupted management that doesn’t reinvest into the course and has no desire to deliver a great real golf experience.
